Tell Me A Story: Storytelling with the Intent to Build Capability Class Size: 10-25 partcipants This workshop looks at the power of storytelling as there is a strong interplay between stories and leadership. Storytelling is a powerful medium for recognizing and cultivating leadership potential. Good stories move us. They touch us, they teach us, and they cause us to remember. Since the dawn of civilization people have shared stories with one another to inspire, coach and facilitate learning. Stories speak to both the left and right side of the brain enabling both reason and emotion. It is an effective tool for inspiring leadership in other people as it enhances awareness of our own leadership values, beliefs and behaviors. Participants in this workshop will engage in circle practice as they explore storytelling in context to leadership capability. |
